Welcome to Covo ("we," "us," or "the App"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Covo mobile application and related services. By creating an account, accessing, or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please discontinue use of the App.

1. Nature of the Service

Covo is a social communication platform designed to provide non-medical, non-therapeutic emotional companionship and peer-based interaction. The App offers users a space to communicate, share experiences, express emotions, and engage in supportive conversations.

Covo does not provide medical care, psychological counseling, psychotherapy, psychiatric services, diagnosis, treatment, or crisis intervention. All interactions on the App are intended solely for general emotional expression and social support purposes.

Any information, conversation, or interaction obtained through the App should not be considered professional advice. Users experiencing severe emotional distress, mental health concerns, or emergency situations should seek assistance from licensed professionals or local emergency services immediately.

2. User Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to access or use Covo. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and have full legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

You agree to provide accurate, current, and lawful information during registration and to maintain the security of your account credentials. You are solely responsible for all activities conducted under your account.

4. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases

Certain features of the App may require payment through subscriptions or in-app purchases. All payments are processed exclusively via Apple In-App Purchase and are subject to Apple’s payment terms and policies.

Covo reserves the right to take appropriate action, including suspension or termination of accounts, for violations of these Terms.

7. Content and Intellectual Property

All software, design elements, trademarks, and content within the App are owned by or licensed to Covo and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of content you submit, but by posting or sharing content on Covo, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable license to use, display, and distribute such content solely for operating and improving the App.

8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

You acknowledge that emotional experiences and outcomes resulting from App interactions vary by individual and are not guaranteed. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Covo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the App.

9. Account Termination

You may discontinue use of the App and delete your account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable laws.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operating entity of Covo is established.

11. Community Standards and Content Moderation

  1. Zero Tolerance Policy
  ByteBound maintains a zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content and abusive behavior. Users may not upload, publish, transmit, share, or otherwise make available any content that: Contains nudity, pornography, or sexually explicit material; Exploits, abuses, or endangers minors; Contains harassment, bullying, threats, hate speech, or discriminatory content; Promotes violence, illegal activities, or dangerous behavior; Infringes intellectual property rights; Contains fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading information; Violates any applicable law or regulation. Any user found engaging in such conduct may have their content removed and account permanently suspended without prior notice.

  2. Content Monitoring and Moderation
  To maintain a safe community environment, ByteBound employs automated content detection technologies provided by trusted third-party service providers, together with manual review conducted by our moderation team. Content may be reviewed, restricted, removed, or otherwise moderated when it is suspected of violating these Terms.

  3. Reporting Objectionable Content
  Users may report content, messages, profiles, images, videos, or other materials that they believe violate these Terms. Reports are reviewed by our moderation team as quickly as possible. ByteBound commits to reviewing and taking appropriate action on valid reports within 24 hours.

  4. Blocking Abusive Users
  Users may block other users at any time. When a user is blocked: Communication between the parties will immediately cease; The blocked user's content will no longer appear to the reporting user where applicable; The block action may be submitted to our moderation system for further review.

  5. Enforcement Actions
  Depending on the severity of the violation, ByteBound may: Remove content; Restrict account functionality; Temporarily suspend accounts; Permanently terminate accounts; Report unlawful activities to relevant authorities when required by law.

  Users who believe their content or account has been incorrectly restricted may contact support for review. ByteBound reserves the right to make final decisions regarding content moderation and account enforcement.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
